Who We Are…
Ewan Stickley is Director of FlyingFish . He brings over twenty years experience in the field of leadership and team development and offers expertise in facilitation, executive and developmental coaching and helping leaders build organisational resilience. Ewan is passionate about supporting leaders in optimising strengths to achieve outstanding performance. Previously, Ewan held senior management positions at Walt Disney World, Pret a Manger, Arcadia Group and the Pentland Group (Speedo, Lacoste and Berghaus) where he was Global Head of Talent Management and Leadership Development.
As an Executive Coach, Ewan has supported many leaders in achieving their goals mainly using a strengths-based and Systems-Thinking approach. He is an ICF accredited coach with a diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. Coaching assignments Ewan has undertaken include career development and transitions, interpersonal effectiveness, strategic thinking and team leadership.
In his leadership and team development programmes, he combines experiential learning with real business issues to ensure the training is practical and relevant. Ewan’s’ facilitation style is energetic, engaging and always memorable.
He is a member of the British Psychological Society and is accredited to use a number of psychometric tools, including: MBTI, Facet5, Hogan, FIRO B, Strengthscope,Resilience Quotient Inventory (RQi) and Savile WAVE. Ewan has also worked with a number of 360 degree feedback tools, including: Leadership Versatility Index, and My360.
Lottie Stickley is Co Director of Flyingfish. As a corporate trainer, Lottie has spent much of her life working within education and the NHS. She is passionate about supporting wellbeing and developing the potential of all those she works with and has delivered programmes such as Customer Service Training, Crucial Conversations, Building Self-esteem, Managing Change and Building Resilience.
Lottie is also passionate about supporting women in the workplace, helping to build their resolve, thus improving the impact they have both at work and home. Lottie can design bespoke programmes for women in the workplace, targeting specific requirements.
Lottie works with both public and private sectors, as well as for non-profit organisations.
Dr Matthew Critchlow PHD is a Senior Associate at FlyingFish (as well as Director of Thrive Training Ltd) who brings over 15 years experience in delivering programmes to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing, communication and leadership capability. He offers expertise in coaching, facilitation, psychometric profiling and HR strategy design.
Matthew previously worked for 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry in sales management, marketing and management consultancy.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Zoology; a PHD in Developmental Biology; he also trained in Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) (with Richard Bandler) and Performance Coaching. He is also an accredited practitioner of the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i), the EQ-i 360, the Personal Wellness Profile™ (PWP), Facet5 personality profile and the Resilience Quotient Inventory ™)
Andy Cole is an associate of FlyingFish (as well as Director of Cole Face Training Solutions) and has been in management development for the last 17 years in both consulting and corporate roles. Beginning his career in human resources management, Andy has led learning and development strategies and has worked in consultancy across a range of businesses, on leadership and management development projects in both the public and private sector.
Andy’s focus is helping others achieve their personal and professional goals by improving their performance and helping them gain results. This expertise is centred on using creative participative training styles that are proven to work in applied settings.
He holds a PostGraduate diploma in Personnel Management; Certificate in Social Science; BPS level A & B competence for occupational testing. He is a qualified practitioner in Hogan Assessments, Myers Briggs, DISC, Interaction Styles, Temperament and Transactional Analysis. Andy is a fellow of the CIPD and a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, Association of Psychological Type International and UK Type Academy.
